Sri Guruvayurappan Dharma kala Samuchayam trust was formed to do research, preservation, development, training, promotion and popularization of traditions and ritual art forms, ancient knowledge and scripts, and Indian traditional science including Vedic mathematics etc,under the patronage of Guruvayur Thanthri Brahmashri Dr.Dineshan Namboothiripad and renowned Padmavibhushan E.Sreedharan. An executive committee with eight members is formed where Mr. Rajeev T K trustee as secretary.

Hon. Vice President of India Inaugurating the function by Lighting the lamp

On 21st August 2018, the Sri Guruvayoorappan Dharmakala Samuchayam Trust was inaugurated by the former Hon’ble Vice President of India by lighting the traditional Kerala lamp. The ceremony was attended by the former Hon’ble Minister of State for Culture, Dr. Mahesh Sharma; the former Governor of Kerala, Justice (Retd.) Shri P. Launching of programme by playing Edaka by Hon. Vice President of India

On the evening of 21st August 2018, the former Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated the first public performance of the project Revival of Ashtapathy Attam by playing the traditional Kerala percussion instrument, the Idakka. The instrument was ceremonially handed over by the Major Trustee, Shri E. Sreedharan, in the presence of the former Governor of Kerala, Justice (Retd.) Shri P. Sathasivam, and Dr; Mahesh Sharma the former Minister of State for Culture
